Hello there — and thanks for stopping by.
My name’s Eddie Sparks, and I’m the guy behind Vintage Shift.
I’ve been around cars for most of my life. Grew up in a garage, got grease under my fingernails before I could drive, and spent more weekends under the hood of a ‘67 Mustang than I care to count. I’ve watched the rise, fall, and rebirth of the American muscle car. I’ve seen cars go from carburetors to computers — and somewhere along the way, I realized that the old ones just had more soul.
Vintage Shift is my way of keeping that soul alive. It’s a place for folks like me — people who still get excited about chrome bumpers, who know what a Holley 4-barrel is, and who believe a well-aged car has more character than anything rolling off the lot today.
Here, you’ll find stories, reviews, restoration advice, and a few ramblings about the classics I love — the ones we all grew up with, drooled over, or were lucky enough to drive.
Whether you’re restoring your first project or just here to remember the good old days, I hope you feel at home.
Thanks for riding along,
Eddie Sparks
